Welcome to Popkorner. By using our app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Popkorner, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Popkorner is a movie discovery and social app that lets you rate movies with Pop, Top, or Flop verdicts and emotion reactions, maintain a watchlist, write short reviews, and share your taste with other users. Movie data is provided by TMDB.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age of consent in your country, if higher) to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may sign in with Apple or with an email and password.
• You can delete your account at any time from within the app.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the reviews and content you create. By posting content on Popkorner, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content within the app, on your public profile, in social feeds visible to other users, and in shareable cards you generate.

• Do not post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or violates the rights of others.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
• You can report or block users whose content or behavior violates these terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the app's operation
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the app by automated means
• Impersonate another person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

The Popkorner name, logo, and app design are our property. Movie data, posters, and metadata are provided by TMDB and are subject to TMDB's Terms of Use. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our app or its content without permission.

7. Disclaimers

Popkorner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or free from errors. Movie data is sourced from TMDB and may not always be accurate or up to date.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Popkorner and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. We will update the "Effective date" above when terms change.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from the use of Popkorner shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of France.
