How do I delete my account?
Open Popkorner, go to your profile, tap the gear icon, then "Account Settings", and select "Delete Account". This permanently deletes all your data including reviews, watchlist, and profile photo.
What are Flop, Pop, and Top ratings?
Flop 🌽 means "not for me." Pop 🍿 means "good time." Top 🏆 means "peak cinema." These replace traditional star ratings with a simpler, more expressive system.
What are Vibe Checks / Emotion Tags?
When you review a movie, you can tag it with emotions: Mindblown 🤯, LOL 😂, Sobbed 🥺, Screamed 😱, Intense ⚡️, and Bored 😴. These help capture how a movie made you feel beyond just a rating.
Where does the movie data come from?
Movie information (titles, posters, descriptions, release dates) is provided by TMDB (The Movie Database). If you notice incorrect movie data, you can help improve it on TMDB's website.
Can I change my username or profile picture?
Yes. Go to your profile and tap the edit button to update your display name or profile photo at any time.
Is Popkorner free?
Yes, Popkorner is free to use. There are no ads and no premium subscription.
